The Amadeo was launched in 2006 to celebrate the 250th anniversary of RIEDEL, coinciding with the 250th birthday of Mozart. This hand-blown decanter pours effortlessly, allowing wine to be decanted into its wider opening and served through its slender mouth. The optical blown glass, a technique originating in Venice, adds a touch of elegance, with few artisans outside RIEDEL still mastering this craft.

This decanter is handmade, with each piece crafted by master glassmakers, ensuring a unique character for every item. Small tolerances in size and weight, along with tiny bubbles or slight surface variations, are part of the handmade process. Please avoid using the RIEDEL Bottle Cleaner, as it may become lodged in the decanter. The decanter is designed for specific fillings: 0.75L for regular, 1.5L for magnum, and 3L for double magnum. Keep in mind that sizes may vary due to the unique handmade nature, but they will always hold the specified filling quantity.
