At Love to Dream we use the industry-recognized measurement system, called TOG. TOG stands for Thermal Overall Grade and helps simplify the process of choosing the right garment/s for your baby. Put simply: The lower the TOG rating, the lighter the fabric. The higher the TOG rating, the warmer the fabric.
- Products with a 0.2 TOG Rating are ideal for Room Temperatures between 75-81°F.
- Products with a 1.0 TOG Rating are ideal for Room Temperatures between 68-75°F.
- Products with a 1.5 TOG Rating are ideal for Room Temperatures between 64-72°F.
- Products with a 2.5 TOG Rating are ideal for Room Temperatures between 61-68°F.
- Products with a 3.5 TOG Rating are ideal for Room Temperatures below 61°F.

The number of clothing layers may vary according to a baby’s health, their physiology, and the room temperature in the room. The caregiver must determine what is suitable. We recommend that carers always monitor the temperature of the room & the child’s comfort. It is important to check your baby regularly to ensure that they are comfortable and that they do not overheat.
